Helicopter Stocking the Chattooga
November 11, 2013
Helicopter stocking the Chattooga River is accomplished through a cooperative effort by the Forest Service (supplies the manpower and helicopter), Rabun Chapter and GA Council Trout Unlimited and Atlanta Fly Fishing Club (pays for the helicopter flight time), and GA and SC Department of Natural Resources (supplies the fish).
Please support Trout Unlimited through your membership and donations in order to continue the helicopter stocking. Also express your appreciation to the State and Federal agency personnel for their work.
If you fish the Chattooga River, remember to fill out the Angler’s Diary:
https://rabuntu.org/chattooga-river-anglers-diary/
The results of the diary give evidence to the agencies on the effectiveness of their efforts.
See you on The River!
