Troop 6 Scout Hut, next to the Rabun County Library
US 76 west, the brick building located behind the Rabun County Library Parking is available in the Rabun County Library parking lot and Rabun County Tax Office parking lot.
At every regular chapter meeting there will be a raffle for fishing or camping items to help pay the cost of mailing the newsletter to members without E-mail. Bring an item to donate and a dollar or two for raffle tickets – you might win something.

We will carpool from the campout and meet at the Overflow Camping Area/Canoe Launch off Forest Service Road 86 at 9:00 am. Oct 9-13: Fall Camping and Fishing Outing

Oct 9 – 13 (Wed – Sun) Fall Camping and Fishing Outing, Tallulah River.
Come join the Rabun Chapter at our annual Fall Campout!
The campout will be held from October 9-13 at Glenn English’s property on the Tallulah River, off the Cat Gap Road in Persimmon, GA.
Camping will be primitive: water and toilets will be available but no electricity or showers. There is space for tents, campers, and travel trailers. Fishing is available in the adjacent private waters of the Tallulah River, and nearby waters of the Tallulah River, Coleman River, and other area streams. The meals will be provided by the Chapter at a nominal cost. In order to purchase food and supplies, we must have a head count of who will be attending. If you are planning on coming to the campout, please contact Michele Crawford at (706) 490-4574 or by email at crawfordart@windstream.net and tell her what days and for what meals you will be present.
On Saturday, October 12, the Chapter will conduct a Stream Clean-Up Project on the West Fork of the Chattooga River.
