On Saturday, June 2, seven Rabunites assisted the US Forest at the annual Kids’ Fishing Event on the Tallulah River. The Rabunites included Frank Patton, KFE Leader; Terry Rivers; Charlie and Kathy Breithaupt; Glenn English; Ray Kearns; and Pat Hopton. Approximately 160 children showed up, along with parents and guardians. The weather was perfect: clear, cool, and sunny! Nearly every child caught at least one fish, and all the kids had a great time! The Rabun Chapter signed up 5 new Stream Explorers to our Chapter. The kids really liked Terry’s fly tying demonstrations. Thank you to Frank for leading this effort and to everyone that participated.
