Social starts at 6:30 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
Program: “Meet the New District Ranger”, presented by Towdy Tipton, USFS District Ranger of the Chattooga River Ranger District.
Come join your friends at the Rabun Chapter to hear Mrs Tipton talk about exciting opportunities for continuing and enhancing the partnership between the Forest Service and Trout Unlimited in the conservation of our local cold water resources.
The Food Bank provides a great service to residents of Northeast Georgia. Please consider bringing a donation of canned food to the meeting to support their mission. A list of suggested items is included on page 17 of the March issue of Tight Lines.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are all aware of the current divisions regarding politics in our country. This Chapter meeting is to discuss conservation, not politics. Out of respect for Mrs Tipton and her position as a government employee, any questions, comments, or opinions with a political aspect will not be allowed at this meeting.
