Report from Pat Hopton, Mack Martin Rod Raffle Coordinator
The drawing for the Mack Martin Rod Raffle was held July 19 at the annual Family Picnic. This year we sold 782 tickets and raised a total of $1,890. To compare, last year we sold 574 tickets and raised $1,490.
The winner of the rod raffle was Tony Allred. Tony is a longtime member of the Chapter, has served as Treasurer, is currently on the Board of Directors, and he and his wife, Terri, coordi- nate the annual Christmas dinner. The rod and reel were presented to Terri at the pic-

This year we had a runner-up prize of a full day guided fishing trip for two at the Hatch Camp, donated by Steve Perry and Scott Lowe. The winner of that prize was Howard Holt. Howard is a member of the Savannah River Chapter and recently helped the Rabun Chapter at the Tallulah River Kids Fishing Event at the fish cleaning station. Howard’s grandson, Jessie Phillips, attended this year’s Trout Camp, which is where Howard bought his ticket. The certificate for the trip has been mailed to Howard. Congratulations, Howard!
