Spring Fishing and Camping Trip April 9 -13 at Cherry Hill Campground
The Rabun Chapter’s Spring Campout will be held Wednesday, April 9 through Sunday, April 13, at the Cherry Hill Campground, located off Hwy 107 in South Carolina. Everyone is invited! You do not have to be a Chap- ter member to attend and we especially welcome guests, spouses, and children.
This campground has approximately half the sites on a reservation system and half the sites on a first-come, first served system. It is highly recommended that you reserve your site soon, well in advance of the campout. To reserve a site, go to http://www.recreation,gov/. The Chapter has site #16 reserved for the gathering place for meals, sitting around the campfire, story telling. Water is available (restrooms, showers) but we always need firewood.
This will be a campout with “communal” meals, therefore we need a head count on who will attend and what meals they will be eating in order to buy groceries. Wednesday will be dinner only, Thurs – Sat will be breakfast and dinner and Sunday will be breakfast only. For Lunch we will have grab & go meals, like beanie weenies etc. The breakfast & dinner meals will be $5.00 per person per meal.
