Dec 9 (Tues) Annual Christmas Dinner with fellow Rabunites! Same great place as last year, the Rabun Manor in Dillard, Ga. Social at 6pm followed by buffet style dinner at 6:30. Cost is $30.00 per person and you can pay with cash or check that night. There will be a cash bar available. Don’t miss it. The food, decorations and fellowship last year was unforgettable!!

Nov 20: Chapter Meeting

November 6, 2014

NOV 20 (Thurs) Regular monthly meeting at the TU/Scout Hut. Fly Tying starts at 5 pm with Terry Rivers, Social at 6:30 (BS in) and then meeting at 7. Our guest will be Wildlife Resources Division of DNR Fisheries Technician Leon Brotherton. Leon will teach us about the art of building speck structures.

Location: The new TU/Scout Hut

US 76 west, the brick building located behind the Rabun County Library.
Parking is available in the Rabun County Library parking lot and Rabun County Tax Office parking lot.

Special Award to Terry Rivers

During the Fall Chapter Campout, Vice Prez Tammy presented Terry Rivers with a special award in recognition for all his hard work in coordinating the Chapter Campouts, including setting up and taking down the shelters and planning the meals. Tammy presents a Thank You card signed by all the campers and a $20 gift certificate for Burger King. Terry can use the certificate at his daily morning old men coffee klatches at Burger King! Thank you, Terry!
