Throughout the year, the Rabun Chapter of Trout Unlimited hosts a number of work projects to support conservation efforts for Northeast Georgia’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.

Rabun TU Caps for Sale

Baseball-style caps in various colors with the “Rabun Chapter TU” logo will be available to purchase at the monthly Chapter meetings.

Cost is $15 per cap.

Burton Hatchery Begins Renovation

Visiting hours change. For the first time in 70 plus years, the Lake Burton Trout Hatchery raceways are empty and dry, and the last of the trout has entered North Georgia streams or been transferred to other trout hatcheries. But, why? The hatchery is preparing for a renovation, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division. More details here
